Adv K.M Mijas is the Managing Director of Al-Azhar Group of Institutions. He is a phenomenal leader. Hailing from a family of businessmen, he was keen to do business since his schooldays. After completing LLB, he joined as Director of Al-Azhar College of Arts & Science. Since then, the Group of Institutions grew exponentially providing quality education to tens of thousands of youngsters. Now Al-Azhar offers International level education from KG to PG.
Dr. K M Paijas

Dr Paijas Moosa is a dentist by profession. He is involved in various educational and social activities. A marathoner, he is an avid believer of how hard work and persistence can turn to success every time. Dr Paijas has been the Director of Al-Azhar Arts and Science College for several years. He is currently preparing for his MDS.
Dr. D F Melvin Jose

Dr. D. F. Melvin Jose is an able administrator with more than twenty years of teaching and research experience in several Engineering colleges. He has taken charge as principal of AL-AZHAR College of Engineering and Technology from March 2019 onwards. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in the field of Mechanical Engineering from Madras University, masters from Annamalai University and doctorate from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University- Hyderabad.

Prof. Needa Farid

Prof. Needa Fareed is an academician with an experience of 12 years in Engineering college and Polytechnic. Professor Needa Farid completed Mtech in Applied Electronics. Professor Needa Farid currently holds the positions of HOD in the department of Electronics and Communication ,IQAC , AICTE Coordinator, and Women cell chairperson in AL AZHAR POLYTECHNIC COLLEGE.

Whenever a question on education is raised, the following quote always comes to my mind: “The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.” The first college of Al-Azhar opened in 2002 with a mission to empower the youth of India through education. I believed that the development of the nation would happen by itself if we can foster the youngsters. Through the years, Al-Azhar has structured an effective and holistic education system that prepares the students to be an effective and efficient workforce and make the best use of the opportunities that the industry sends their way. The best examples are students of the Engineering College itself. Addon programs, Competitive exam coaching, MOUs with several reputed companies, etc., have created a huge impact on our students. Their learning has expanded and they are prepared to make a difference. The vibrancy of our campus makes it an ideal environment for students to grow mentally and intellectually. It’s a proud moment for me, as the founder of Al – Azhar, to see our students excelling in their careers and life in various corners of the world.

Amidst the scenic location of Idukki, Kerala, Al-Azhar is creating a revolution in the Education Sector through 12 academic institutions and over 7,000 students. By establishing the first International School in Doha, Qatar; Al-Azhar has made its presence known among the international community. Through the various Educational Institutions, we have been successfully striving forward in our mission to provide excellent & affordable education opportunities to a diverse student population. When we began the journey, it was our mission to bring the light of Education to the bright spirited youth of Thodupuzha. Through education, we believed that development can be achieved easily. Today, with thousands of students from all over India, studying in our institutions, I am immensely pleased to say that we have achieved that and more. With the help of experienced faculty and hardworking students, Al-Azhar is in the frontline creating exceptional leaders for tomorrow. The students who graduated from the various institutions have become successful professionals steeped in Indian values and modern outlook. We have had the opportunity to be involved with the community at the deepest level. I feel a great sense of pride and satisfaction that over the many years, our family has had a role in impacting positively, the lives of people near and far, and in many ways.
